Slots from a cent to $5

The floor at Dakota Dunes Casino holds more than 600 slot machines. Denominations run from $.01 and $.02 through $.05 and $.25, up to $1 and $5. That spread puts a one-cent machine and a five-dollar machine under the same roof.

Smokers have their own space. The casino keeps a dedicated Smoking Room, fitted with its own HVAC filtration system. Slot play follows the casino floor hours, which run longer than the live table hours.

Live tables and poker

Tre Card Stud, Texas Hold'em and two versions of Blackjack make up the live table games. A High Limit Room sits on the right-hand side of the casino. Between Monday and Thursday, cards are dealt from 5 PM until 3 AM. Friday and Saturday stretch longer, with tables running 12 PM through 4 AM, while Sunday hours are 12 PM through 3 AM. No table minimums are published by the casino.

Poker runs on a sign-up list. Sign-up opens at 1:00 PM; register in person, or call 306-667-6481. On arrival, players check in with a Live Games team member. The first table is scheduled for 5:00 PM if there are enough staff and players on the list. Neither the number of poker tables nor a closing time is published.

Sevens Sports Bar

Sevens Sports Bar has 11 screens. One of them is a display measuring 32.8 ft x 8.2 ft. Seating runs to over 124 places, split between the bar top and individual seating.

Hours depend on the room: the dining room is open 11 AM to 12 AM daily. The lounge opens at the same hour and stays open until 2 AM. All of these hours follow Saskatchewan time, which keeps Central Standard Time year round. For holiday hours, check dakotadunescasino.com. SIGA Rewards members who show the card get 10% off restaurant orders at SIGA locations.

The SIGA Rewards card

Membership in SIGA Rewards is free, and one card covers the seven SIGA casinos across four tiers: Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Emerald. Points and tier credits are tracked in the SIGA Rewards app. The card also matters for anyone arriving in an RV. A stay in any of the ten RV stalls is set up through the Guest Services desk, which requires a SIGA Rewards card. The Casino Shift Manager or Security then gives the stay its approval.
